Businesses all over the world are doing their part to keep workers and customers as safe as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic. Practice these simple steps to keep your home healthy after a job well done.

Continue Coronavirus Best Practices

  • Handwashing
  • Social distancing
  • Avoid touching face with unwashed hands
  • Sanitize/disinfect high touch surfaces

Before Work

  • Keep cars clean—clean steering wheel and other high touch surfaces
  • Avoid carpooling if possible. If using the bus, practice social distancing.
  • Leave non-essential accessories like rings and watches at home
  • Wear glasses instead of contacts for more eye protection

After Work

  • If possible, change into clean clothes before returning home
  • Clean hands after removing dirty clothes and before touching clean clothes
  • Isolate items that can’t be washed and keep shoes outdoors
  • Put dirty work clothes in a lined hamper and wash immediately
  • Sanitize phone, keys and other personal items
  • Disinfect door handles and light switches near entryways
  • Shower
